J. Selye University
J. Selye University is the only independent legal entity in Slovakia, which offers academic study programmes to an ethnic minority in their mother tongue, i.e. Hungarian.
Faculty of Economics and Informatics
The Faculty of Economics and Informatics at the J. Selye University (FEI JSU) is the only faculty in Slovakia where the members of the Hungarian ethnic minority can study and obtain a university degree in business and IT in their mother tongue.
Department of Informatics
The Department of Informatics began writing its modern history on February 6, 2020, when, based on the decision of the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Economics and Informatics, the former Department of Mathematics and Informatics was divided into two separate departments.
The Department of Informatics has modernly equipped classrooms with good material security, and it also includes the Intelligent Robotics Center, which provides a good instrumental and technical basis for research and scientific cooperation. The employees of the department also pay considerable attention to the preparation of university teaching materials, participate in scientific conferences, symposia and are actively involved in the solution of domestic and foreign projects.
